Corporate social responsibility

OzHarvest is a non-denominational charity that rescues excess food which would otherwise be discarded. This excess food is distributed to charities supporting the vulnerable in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Newcastle.

Australia wide OzHarvest delivers 480,000 meals per month with a fleet of 21 vans (11 in Sydney). This equates to 160 tonnes each month.

Food is generously donated by those with excess. By distributing this food to various charities, we assist them to better and more efficiently address the underlying social problems in our society.

GRC Solutions supports OzHarvest at the yearly CEO cookoff as we value the importance of providing food security and reducing homelessness around Australia.

United Way Australia

United Way Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve opportunities for disadvantaged Australians by providing better access to education, health and financial independence.

Its latest project is called Read Learn Succeed. Since 2013, United Way has been delivering high-quality books to homes each month for kids aged 0-5, and supports parents throughout the process.

It will pilot the program in six language-vulnerable communities between 2013-2016 and roll out in twenty communities by 2020.

GRC Solutions recognises the importance of literacy and all of the opportunities that it gives us in life, from a solid education to a healthy economy. That’s why we proudly support Read Learn Succeed.
